Apple iPad 4 Release Date Slated on October 2012

Rumors do come and go. But there’s something that you need to know. We have heard from the grapevine that Apple will be releasing the iPad 3 with Retina Display in March which will then be followed by an iPad 4 release this coming October 2012. Furthermore, the latter will be fully loaded with “killer apps”.

It has long been rumored that the iPad 3 will be flaunting a high-resolution display that will double the screen size of the current Apple slate. That being said, the next-gen iPad will have a full screen resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. It will also be equipped with a long-lasting power cell.

But what really surprised us this time is the rumored release of the iPad 4. Come to think of it, it is very unlikely for the Cupertino Company to launch both of its revolutionary iPads at the same year. Even so, it has been leaked that the fourth-gen iPad will retain the slate’s standard 9.7 inch display alongside with its upgraded hardware specs and integrated applications. Speculations are also eyeing on the possibility that the tablet will be released to compete with the forthcoming Windows 8 powered slates that will be hitting the shelves this Q3.

As much as we would like to believe that this will really be the scenario. We can’t help but rewind our memory back to last year’s rumors. For now, we are still waiting for more updates that could somehow lead us to the right track. Also, not much has been told about the specs and features of the fourth-gen iPad. Besides, two iPads in a year can bring a great deal of pressure to the companies that supply the materials for Apple. It is really up to you whether you want to be convinced by these rumors that don’t seem to make any sense at all.
