MacBook Pro gets updated with a faster processor and graphics card


Most of the world is still abuzz with the announcement of the Apple iPhone 4S and its amazing features. Head on over to the laptop side of Apple and the company has silently refreshed their MacBook Pro line-up of notebooks. Design-wise, the laptop remains virtually the same, however internally; the specifications have been bumped up across their entire range which includes the 13-inch, 15-inch and 17-inch models.



The 13-inch model will feature a 2.4GHz Core i5 or a 2.8GHz Core i7 dual-core processor. The entry level model will also receive an HDD increase to 500GB. The 15-inch model now features a 2.2GHz or 2.4GHz Second Generation Intel Core i7 quad core processor. They will also come with an AMD Radeon HD 6750M GPU with 512MB on GDDR5 memory or an AMD Radeon HD 6770M with 1GB GDDR5 memory. The 17-incher also gets a refresh with the processor being bumped up to a 2.4GHz Core i7 processor along with an AMD Radeon HD 6770M graphics processor with 1GB of GDDR5 memory.
